Car Accident on Megrin-Yerevan Highway: There Are Injured

On March 20, at 15:04, the Syunik regional crisis management center received a report of a traffic accident in the village of Vardanidzor.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It was established that at the 17th kilometer of the Megrin-Yerevan highway, a Mitsubishi Pajero IO vehicle (driver: M. M., born 1959) had veered off the roadway and slid approximately 2 meters into the roadside.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery, sealed the gas cylinder valve, and approached the passenger, A. M. (born 1980), providing assistance with an ambulance vehicle. The injured individual was hospitalized at the Meghri Medical Center, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.
