US Sends Another Drone to Black Sea After UAV Crash

Following the crash of an American MQ-9 Reaper drone in the Black Sea, the United States has dispatched another drone to the crash site. This was reported by CNN, citing sources. It is noted that the Pentagon does not plan to fully halt drone flights over the Black Sea until the investigation of the incident is complete.

Sources indicate that the second drone is intended to examine the emergency site and monitor Russian military personnel's alleged attempts to recover drone debris from the seabed.

Recall that on March 15, the Pentagon reported that Russian Su-27 fighters had intercepted the American MQ-9 Reaper drone in the Black Sea skies, and one of them struck the drone with its wing, damaging its propeller. As a result, the Americans had to ‘destroy’ the drone themselves.
