Turkish Journalist in Yerevan: 'This is the First Time After the War that Both Teams Will Play Against Each Other'

Turkish journalist and researcher Serdar Koruç and CNN TÜRK operator Ahmet Akpolat are in Armenia. They presented a report from in front of the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium, where a football match between the Turkey and Armenia national teams is scheduled to take place on March 25. This was reported by ermenihaber.

Koruç emphasized the significance of the timing of this match, noting that "this is the first time after the Nagorno-Karabakh war and the subsequent normalization process that both teams will play against each other." He added, "The tension in the region is actually quite high."

It is worth mentioning that Serdar Koruç often visits Armenia. He has also published works on the Armenian issue, the Kurdish issue, and the bloody events of September 6-7, 1955.
