Zakharova on Pashinyan's Statements

This can only be assessed with one expression: чудеса на виражах.

This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, during a weekly briefing in response to a question regarding Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that "if Russia cannot ensure stability and security in Nagorno-Karabakh, for objective or subjective reasons, it should either initiate discussions at a meeting of the UN Security Council thereby raising the issue of the mandate of Russian peacekeepers granted by the UN Security Council, or send additional multinational peacekeeping forces to Nagorno-Karabakh."

“I have no other explanation. I will not even try to analyze and somehow come to conclusions about what this might mean and how it relates to something. This statement is so inexplicable that I do not intend to explain it. This is a kind of incredible equilibristics of words.”
