VIDEO: "We have received new proposals from Baku; entering the 4th phase of peace treaty discussions" – Pashinyan
The Republic of Armenia has received new proposals from Azerbaijan regarding the peace treaty. Thus, we have entered the 4th phase of discussions on the draft agreement. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government session.
“We will discuss and present our observations in the near future. We are committed and will not deviate from the peace agenda,” emphasized the Prime Minister.
At the same time, he drew the international community's attention to the fact that despite the 8th point of the trilateral statement on November 9, 2020, Azerbaijan has still not returned Armenian prisoners of war, hostages, and other detained persons. He also reminded that Azerbaijan continues to occupy sovereign territories of the Republic of Armenia that were seized as a result of aggression in 1994, 2021, and 2022.
