VIDEO: Hayk Khloyan Wins Bronze Medal

Armenia's Greco-Roman wrestler Hayk Khloyan has won a bronze medal at the European U23 Championships taking place in Bucharest. Our athlete in the 97 kg weight category confidently defeated wrestlers from Poland and Turkey in the consolation matches, and triumphed over Lithuania's Mindaugas Venckaitis in the bronze medal match.

Meanwhile, 67 kg weight category wrestler Ashot Khachatryan faced a draw against Israel's Shon Nadorgin, finishing with a score of 5:5, but lost the match due to the last point conceded.

In total, our wrestlers captured 4 medals at the European Championships: 1 silver and 3 bronzes. In the team standings, the Armenian national team placed 5th with a total of 105 points, while Turkey secured the first position.
