Earthquake in Turkey 250 km from Istanbul
An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred in the city of Bolu, located 250 km east of Istanbul. This was reported by Turkish seismologists.
According to data from the Kandilli Observatory, the tremors registered at 13:55 were followed by at least two aftershocks. The epicenter was located in the Bolu-Kizilagil suburb at a depth of about 10 km. There are currently no reports of injuries or damage.
It is worth noting that on February 6, an earthquake struck the Kahramanmaraş region of Turkey at 05:17, causing destruction in several cities. At 14:24 and 14:36, two more strong earthquakes were recorded. The intensity of the underground tremors in the epicentral zone reached 10-11 points. Approximately 48,000 people lost their lives in the earthquakes in Turkey.
