Heavy Rains Cause Flooding in Multiple Regions of Turkey
Heavy rainfall in Turkey's Şanlıurfa province has caused flooding, leading to the suspension of school classes. Turkish media reports this information.
“The heavy rains have resulted in flooding in many areas. Cultivated fields, numerous homes, and workplaces have been inundated. The emergency department of Şanlıurfa's research hospital has flooded, and patients have been moved to upper floors,” the broadcaster reported.
Provincial governor Salih Ayhan announced that the intensive care unit of the Eyübiye Training and Research Hospital has also been flooded due to torrential rains. Currently, basements are being evacuated, and 25 patients have been transferred to other hospitals.
