Body of Man Found in Lake Sevan; Identity of Deceased Confirmed
The body of a 66-year-old man has been discovered in Lake Sevan. This information has been reported by shamshyan.com.
The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs' police department in Gavar received a call at 09:00, reporting that a corpse was observed in the area of the village of Hrayravank, along the Sevan-Martuni-Geghapat highway.
Local residents retrieved the body of the drowned man. Gavar police and patrollers on site determined that the deceased was identified as 66-year-old Paylak P. from the village of Noratus in the Gegharkunik region.
A criminal investigation has been initiated in Gavar's investigative department. By the investigator's decision, an autopsy has been ordered.
