‘Supervisory Inspections Will Be Conducted Daily’: Artsakh Minister Reports

Supervisory inspections of retail prices for goods have begun in Stepanakert as well as in the regions since yesterday. Artsakh Minister Gurgen Nersisyan announced this on his Facebook page.

“Employees of the Commission for the Regulation of Public Services and Economic Competition of the Republic of Artsakh, the State Revenue Committee, and the Committee for State Inspections have visited commercial points to warn and clarify the current legal regulations once again. Five administrative proceedings have been initiated by the inspection body, and the violations detected have been rectified on the spot.

Once again, we remind that violations of the special rules for the circulation and sale of goods by economic entities will entail administrative liability, punishable by a fine of 500,000 to 1,000,000 drams.

At the same time, we inform that supervisory inspections will be conducted daily, and economic entities committing violations will be held accountable. We urge citizens to immediately report to the State Inspection Committee by calling the short number 5099 if they notice prices exceeding the permissible limits.

Our internal discipline, along with unequivocal respect for law and morality, should become a way of life, deviation from which should be condemned not only by the state but also by society,” wrote Nersisyan.
