Strong Explosion in Melitopol: Casualties Reported

An explosion occurred in the city of Melitopol, located in the Zaporizhia region. This information was reported by Interfax, citing a representative of the emergency services in Zaporizhia.

It has been noted that three people were injured as a result of the car explosion in the city, contradicting earlier reports that mentioned only two. The injured include two men and one woman.

The vehicle that exploded belonged to Ivan Tkachen, the head of a local transportation company, who was present at the scene and is among the injured. According to TASS, Tkachen has been publicly named in Ukraine as a traitor for collaborating with Russia.

Earlier reports indicated that the car was detonated using a homemade explosive device.
