Karapet Manvelyan Becomes U23 Wrestling Vice-Champion

Karapet Manvelyan has become the U23 wrestling vice-champion, winning a silver medal. In the final of the European Youth Championship in Romania, in the Greco-Roman style for the 55 kg category, the representative of Armenia lost to Romanian Denis Florin Mihai with a score of 3:7 in a highly intense match.

Manvelyan started his competition journey from the qualification round, where he achieved an impressive victory with a score of 9:0 against Serbian Sabolc Losonk.

In the quarter-finals, the Armenian wrestler won 7:1 against Azerbaijani Rahim Hasanov, and in the semi-finals, he secured a victory against Turkish Muhammed Emin Cakiri with a score of 1:1, winning on criteria by the last point advantage.
