Stones Thrown at Train on Gyumri-Yerevan Route

Malefactors have thrown stones at an electric train traveling on the Gyumri-Yerevan route. The information was reported by the press service of the South Caucasus Railway, noting that the incident occurred on the Noragavit-Yerevan section.

“One of the stones broke a window of the electric train. Fortunately, none of the passengers in the crowded train were harmed. Law enforcement authorities have been informed about the incident,” the statement said.

The railway company has urged citizens to show responsible behavior towards railway infrastructure and rolling stock, reminding that such hooligan acts carry not only legal consequences but also pose a danger to passengers.
