Yerevan Deputy Mayor Gevorg Simonian is not arrested, nor has he been taken into custody with handcuffs or through any other form of coercion, and, at this point, he does not have any legal status.

Mr. Simonian has gone to the Anti-Corruption Committee at the invitation of its employees, who conducted a search in his office, to provide explanations. That’s all.
