US Plans to Extend the 'Grain Deal'

The United States has announced plans to extend the 'Grain Deal'. This intention was expressed by John Kirby, the Strategic Communications Coordinator at the White House, during an appearance on MSNBC.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated today that the issue of arrangements is a complex matter for Moscow. He noted that the deal is package-based, meaning that if it is fulfilled only partially, extending it will not be easy.

According to the minister, the second part of the package, which involves lifting all obstacles to the export of Russian grain and fertilizers, has not been realized. Lavrov emphasized that Moscow is fulfilling all obligations related to the implementation of the grain agreement.
