Tragic Incident in Yerevan: Construction Material Falls on Man

Today, on March 9, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 1:00 PM, the Yerevan police department received a report of a body found in the area of the newly constructed high-rise building located at Gyurjian 11/5.

According to shamshyan.com, an operational team from the New Nork police department, led by department head Igor Mesropyan and operational deputy Kamo Mikayelyan, swiftly arrived at the scene.

Preliminary reports indicate that the deceased had no connection to the construction site; he had arrived to fix a crane. At that moment, construction boards used as "kharchakh" fell from a higher floor and struck him, leading to his death.
