Court ruling: Man to pay ex-wife $215,000 for 25 years of household work and childcare

In Spain, a court in Malaga has ordered a businessman to pay his ex-wife €204,000 (approximately $215,000) in compensation for her household work and childcare over their 25 years of marriage. This news is reported by Oddity Central.

It has been reported that the woman dedicated her life to supporting her entrepreneurial husband and caring for their two daughters, resulting in the compensation for her years of unpaid labor.

“She was in the shadow of her husband, working behind the scenes so that he could grow professionally and become someone. She spent all her time focusing on her family so that her husband could concentrate on his business projects. She took care of the girls and never received any outside help,” the woman’s lawyer told the court.
