Building of Former Russian Barracks Put Up for Sale

The State Property Management Committee has put up for sale another of the 71 properties belonging to the Ministry of Defense: the building located at 24 Shiraz Street in Shengavit, 63 address. The property is being sold at 100% of its assessed value, which is 190 million 950 thousand drams. This was reported by the newspaper "Haykakan Jurnal".

"It consists of a public building with an area of 715.56 square meters and a land plot of 0.17475 hectares allocated for its operation and maintenance. We have found out that the property put up for sale is the former Russian barracks. It is noteworthy that among the 71 properties is also the former Yerevan Metropolitan Regiment, known as the 'Stalichni Polks', where an elite neighborhood is to be constructed," the report stated.
