Attempt to Deliver Prohibited Items to 'Sevan' Penitentiary Using Drone Prevented

The staff of the 'Sevan' penitentiary has prevented another transfer of prohibited items using a remote-controlled drone. During a routine patrol by the duty group and security division of the Ministry of Justice's 'Sevan' penitentiary on March 7, at approximately 11:50 PM, personnel noticed a drone approaching one of the facility's buildings.

As the drone neared the building, it dropped a suspicious package wrapped in a yellow polyethylene bag. Upon investigation, the package was found to contain two mobile phones and a mobile phone charger.
