133 Arrested During Protests in Tbilisi

Currently, the area around the Parliament building in Tbilisi is calm, according to reports from Georgian media. It is noted that the Patrol Police are on guard and overseeing the entrance to the Parliament. Some protesters are attempting to approach the building, but they are not being allowed to do so.

Yesterday, during the protests against the foreign agent law, the police used water cannons, tear gas, explosives, and other special measures against the participants. Over the course of two days, 133 individuals have been arrested during the demonstrations opposing the rushed adoption of the "foreign agents" legislation in Parliament.
