VIDEO: Truck Plows into Crowds in South Korea, Leaving Casualties and Injuries

On Wednesday, a small truck plowed into a crowd in the southwestern county of Suncheon, resulting in casualties and injuries, reported Yonhap.

The truck, which was transporting fertilizer, collided with people near a parking lot next to an agricultural cooperative building, located 244 km from Seoul, at around 10:30 AM local time.

As a result of the accident, three people have died. Another five individuals have sustained serious injuries, while twelve others have also been injured. All of them have been hospitalized.

Rescue teams stated that the death toll could rise, as many of the victims are elderly.

The police are investigating the cause of the accident. Initial reports suggest that the incident occurred due to the driver's error.
