Maximum Price Limits Set for Goods in Artsakh; Violators to Be Fined 500,000-1,000,000 Dram

In light of the current situation and the scarcity of goods in the market due to economic blockade, as well as issues related to pricing, the government of the Republic of Artsakh has adopted a special regulation for the circulation of goods on March 7, 2023. According to this regulation, businesses must submit a list of the goods they intend to sell to the Public Services and Economic Competition Regulatory Commission of Artsakh in advance. The commission will establish a maximum market price for these goods, and in case of violations, businesses will be subject to administrative fines ranging from 500,000 to 1,000,000 dram.

This information has been reported by the Information Headquarters of Artsakh.

Control over this process will be carried out by local self-government bodies, heads of administrations, the State Revenue Committee, the Public Services and Economic Competition Regulatory Commission, and the management committee of the State Inspectorates of the Republic of Artsakh.

Today and tomorrow, a process will be organized to inform businesses, after which the regulations set by the Government will come into effect.
