VIDEO: "We are giving the Revenue Committee 1 hour to respond, after which we will demand their resignation," says protest participant
Residents of the former Ministry of Defense building are holding a protest in front of the State Revenue Committee. They are demanding a meeting with the officials to address their issues.
“We decided to give them one hour for a definitive answer, because this is not the first time they have promised us, both in writing and verbally, to respond, but they have not. We don’t have time for the children and the people to stay day and night in a tent, left unanswered all day long. We declare one hour for them to come down and respond to us, if not, we have decided to collectively demand their resignation,” said a protest participant.
It is noteworthy that, according to a government decision, the former Ministry of Defense building has been annexed to the Revenue Committee, as a result of which the residents of that building have found themselves homeless.
