Mass Arrests Continue in Turkey

Following the devastating earthquake on February 6, mass arrests continue in Turkey, targeting contractors and other suspects believed to be responsible for the collapse of buildings.

According to reports, the number of detainees has reached 247, while 82 individuals who were taken into custody have been released after questioning. This information comes from Ermenihaber.

It is worth noting that the Chief Prosecutor's Office of Turkey has initiated several criminal proceedings based on the construction of buildings with improper modifications. A total of 997 suspects have been declared in the ongoing investigation.
