A Dog Awarded in Georgia for Saving a Life in Turkey
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has awarded a dog for saving a life following the earthquake in Turkey. This information was reported by the TASS news agency.
The rescue dog, named Tinto, from the Ministry's Emergency Management Service, was honored with a special medal for 'Saving Lives,' according to a statement from the ministry's press service.
It was noted that Tinto helped save the life of a man who became trapped under rubble during the earthquake. The medal was presented to the dog by Mamuka Sepiashvili, the deputy head of the firefighting and rescue department.
