This Issue is a Top Priority on the International Agenda: UK's Ambassador to the OSCE on the Lachin Corridor

The UK's Ambassador to the OSCE, Neil Bush, has expressed concern over disruptions to the operations of the Lachin Corridor and acknowledged the International Court's decision.

"The UK government remains deeply concerned about the ongoing violations in the Lachin Corridor, particularly relating to the movement of goods and people. This issue is a top priority on the international agenda. We have discussed these interruptions numerous times here in Vienna and at the UN Security Council. The fact that this matter has been referred to the International Court and a decision has been made emphasizes the urgency of taking necessary measures. The current disruptions to the operations of the Lachin Corridor undermine efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability.

The UK government acknowledges all court decisions and urges immediate action to restore the movement of goods and people towards Nagorno-Karabakh. The parties must start substantive negotiations without preconditions to ensure a stable and peaceful resolution of the conflict and to address the ongoing tensions," the statement reads.
