New Zovk's Database Found in Basement Behind Hidden Door Covered with Boxes and Flour Bags

The State Revenue Committee has conducted a search at the company "Aktrade Soft," which provides software solutions for "New Zovk" LLC, and has discovered items and documents of significant importance concerning a criminal case. This information was provided by the press service of the SRC.

During the examination of the objects and documents, as well as the search of the premises, it was established that the company utilizes a database server outside of its office. However, the founder and actual beneficiary, V.S., along with other employees, continuously asserted that the company does not have a separate database.

"The operatives immediately established operational control over the specified and adjacent addresses, resulting in data confirming that the database server of 'New Zovk' LLC is located at 77/5 Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan, which, by the way, is about 1.6 km away from 'Aktrade Soft' and is a three-story building," the statement read.

As a result of the search, a locked door covered with boxes and flour bags was found at the end of the basement level of the building, behind which the database was located. An investigation of the database revealed that the 'New Zovk' company provided fiscal receipts containing fiscal numbers to its purchasing customers; however, it did not send information to the tax authorities regarding part of the payments for the reflected purchases in those receipts.

As a result of procedural actions, the actual revenue generated from the sales of 'Zovk' supermarkets from 2019-2023 was revealed. Consequently, based on the obtained factual data, an assessment of the damages caused to the state has been made. According to preliminary data, the company underreported taxable items by approximately 13.2 billion AMD, while the outstanding tax was about 4.1 billion AMD. Currently, measures are being taken to clarify the final amount of damage caused to the state.

Today, the Investigative Committee announced that four individuals have been detained in relation to alleged tax violations at 'New Zovk' LLC. They are: Aram Aramyan, the owner of 'New Zovk' LLC, R.A., the company’s director, S.S., the chief accountant, and V.S., the director of 'Aktrade Soft' LLC, who provided technological and software support for the alleged criminal scheme.
