Azerbaijan Takes Notice of Russia's Statements

Russia's strategic and long-term allies are under pressure from the United States and its controlled structures and states. This was stated by Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin in an interview with Lente.ru.

Among Russia's long-term allies, Galuzin named Belarus as part of the Union State, as well as the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). In addition to Russia, the EAEU includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. All of these countries, alongside Tajikistan, are members of the CSTO.

Azerbaijan has "taken notice" of this statement, concluding that Russia does not consider Azerbaijan a long-term ally.

Earlier, Belarusian expert Petr Petrovsky mentioned that Belarus would try to maintain a communication channel with the West, as there is a request from Russia to do so. The expert believes that the current Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik is doing this to continue seeking a diplomatic resolution to the Ukrainian conflict.
