Our Side Should No Longer Negotiate: Azerbaijan Must Open the Corridor Voluntarily, Samvel Babayan

Samvel Babayan, the former Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh and the president of the United Homeland Party, is confident that there is an opportunity to open the Lachin corridor.

"I believe our side should no longer negotiate; they must open the corridor voluntarily, and they will open it. We are simply giving them an opportunity every time to present something as if they are doing something on their own. Once our side sat down and talked, that’s it; the remaining steps must come from their side," Babayan stated.

It is recalled that since December 12, 2022, Azerbaijan has closed the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, the Goris-Stepanakert highway.
