Houses in Old Armenian Quarter of Malatya Suffered Minimal Damage from Earthquake
The houses in the old Armenian quarter of Malatya sustained minimal damage from the powerful earthquakes that struck Turkey in February. According to a report by Akunq.net, our compatriot Firat Saroyan from Malatya has shared this information.
In a post on his Facebook page regarding the topic, Saroyan also adds that the brick houses built by Armenian masters 150-200 years ago have remained standing, while most of the newly constructed buildings have collapsed.
