Governor of Moscow Region Comments on Drone Crash Incident in Kolomna

The governor has reported that the target of the drone that fell in the urban area of Kolomna, near the village of Gubastovo, was likely a civilian infrastructure object, which fortunately was not damaged.

“There are no casualties or destruction. The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation and other competent authorities are dealing with the situation; there is no threat to the safety of residents,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier, news outlets reported that a drone had collided about 10 meters away from the fence of the Voskresensky gas compressor station in Kolomna district. The operation of the gas networks has not been disrupted.

It should be noted that the Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that on the night of February 28, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to use drones against civilian infrastructure in Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Adygea.
