US Authorities Do Not Rule Out Future Review of Crimea's Status
The United States has announced the possibility of revisiting the question of Crimea's status. This was reported by Говорит Москва.
American officials believe that this could be possible in the future. “The question of Crimea is one that will happen in the future. This is something we will come to,” said Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security Advisor, in an interview with NBC News.
At the same time, Sullivan clarified in response to a question about the possible involvement of the White House in discussions regarding Crimea's status that the U.S. is fundamentally not prepared to discuss issues related to another country's sovereignty.
He emphasized that Kyiv must now focus on short-term goals to gain advantages on the battlefield with Washington's support. According to him, these successes should ultimately allow for the “full restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity.”
