Lavrov and Aliyev Meet

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who arrived in Baku on a working visit, met today with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. This was reported by TASS.

Lavrov will also have a meeting in Baku with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.

The minister's visit coincides with the first anniversary of the bilateral declaration on allied cooperation, signed on February 22 of last year.

During his meetings with the leadership of the Republic, Lavrov will discuss the entire spectrum of bilateral issues, current regional and international problems, and will pay special attention to the implementation of trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
