Over 40 Migrants Drown at Sea in Southern Italy

More than 40 bodies have been discovered off the coast of Calabria in southern Italy. According to initial reports, the boat, which carried citizens from Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, collided with rocks.

It is feared that the death toll may rise, as it is believed that more than 150 people were on board the vessel heading towards Italy's shores. Approximately 50 individuals have been rescued, and search and rescue operations are ongoing.
