The Sole Responsible for Artsakh's Internal Political Crisis is Araik Harutyunyan: Abrahamyan
The Secretary of the 'Honor' faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, addressed the internal political situation in Artsakh on his Facebook page.
"It is already known that the new Prime Minister to be appointed in Artsakh is the Chief Prosecutor Gurgen Nersisyan. It is very difficult to say what principles and approaches the new Prime Minister will adopt and how his cooperation with the President will unfold. In the case of Ruben Vardanyan, Araik Harutyunyan presented Vardanyan for months as the future of Artsakh, a person capable of changing the situation and investing his considerable resources for the benefit of Artsakh. What happened two months after those words is known to all: some of Harutyunyan's supporters began to talk about Vardanyan being a problem for the state system, while others 'clarified' that Vardanyan was not a man of the Russians. A group went so far with their creative approaches that they connected Vardanyan's appointment with the efforts of the opposition in Armenia.
By the way, the sole responsible for the internal political crisis in Artsakh is Araik Harutyunyan, who appointed and shortly thereafter removed his appointee, regardless of the reasons, creating a deep crisis within. Now, he is 'heroically' fighting against the 'spaghetti' he himself created.
Considering Harutyunyan's irregular and unpredictable political conduct during this and the previous period, it is difficult to say what we will have after the appointment of the new Prime Minister. Various rumors have circulated recently about Nersisyan—ranging from being a representative of the Armenian authorities to being a participant in a power struggle involving Soros-affiliated individuals. Personally, during my years of service, I have interacted with him in Artsakh and have had a good impression because he has been clear and principled in his work, and I have not encountered any evidence to support the rumors about him.
Despite the heavy internal political, foreign policy, and security situation, he has taken on great responsibility, and my wish is for him and the other officials to succeed, as it is in the interest of Artsakh. The important thing is that the clear positions and principles underlying the work must stem from the approaches proclaimed by the people of Artsakh three decades ago," Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook page.
