Prosecutor's Office Demands Seizure of 2,000 Shares and 1.6 Billion AMD from Tsarukyan's Son-in-Law and Daughter
The hearings continue in the Anti-Corruption Court regarding the claim of the Prosecutor's Office against Karapet Guloyan and Roza Tsarukyan for the seizure of property with illegal origins. This was reported by Hetq.am.
The representative of the Prosecutor's Office has requested to involve 'Akba Bank' LLC as a third party not presenting an independent claim, as Guloyan and Tsarukyan have 2,000 shares in the bank.
It is noteworthy that the former governor of Kotayk Province, and former mayor of Abovyan, Karapet Guloyan, and the daughter of former MP and businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, Roza Tsarukyan, are married.
The Prosecutor's Office, represented by the Division for the Seizure of Property from Illegal Origin, is demanding the seizure of one residential house and one plot of land in Kotayk Province, shares held in two companies, 'Akba Bank' LLC and 'Electromontazh LLC', and 1 billion 638 million 557 thousand AMD transferred to the good faith acquirer, as well as 58 million 120 thousand AMD of illegal income remaining.
