Crimea Bridge Opens for Vehicle Traffic 39 Days Ahead of Schedule
The Crimea Bridge has been fully opened for vehicle traffic across all lanes, announced Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. The restoration work on the bridge has been completed 39 days ahead of the planned schedule. The restoration of the railway section of the Crimea Bridge is expected to be finished in July, Khusnullin stated. Currently, work is being carried out to assemble and prepare the structural elements for installation.
“The operations are taking place around the clock in two shifts, with 305 people and 32 units of equipment involved,” noted the Russian Deputy Prime Minister.
It is worth recalling that on the morning of October 8, a fuel-laden tanker exploded on the Crimea Bridge.
