Men Arrested for Taking Woman Hostage in Flower Shop in Moscow
In Moscow, two men have been arrested for taking a woman hostage in a flower shop located in the city center.
According to preliminary information, the two men, one of whom was armed with a traumatic pistol, entered the shop and held a female salesperson captive. The men have been detained,” stated Lyudmila Nefedova, a representative of the city prosecutor's office, to reporters.
She added that the operations at the scene are being coordinated by Maxim Chikmarev, the deputy prosecutor of the Central Administrative District.
Meanwhile, Vladimir Vasenin, head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moscow, reported that the woman did not sustain any injuries.
