Closed Market Underpass Lacks Ramp: Taguhi Tovmasyan
Yesterday, the underpass of the Closed Market, which officially opened in the center of Yerevan with great fanfare, does not have a ramp. This was announced by Taguhi Tovmasyan, a member of the National Assembly from the "I Have Honor" faction, on her Facebook page.
She specifically noted: "Yesterday, the underpass of the Closed Market, inaugurated with great pomp, does not have a ramp. Vice Mayor Tigran Avinyan, after cutting the red ribbon with four others, proclaimed: 'The underpass of the Closed Market has been put into operation, newly renovated, although with a slight delay, and is now ready for public evaluation.'
However, the renovation not only resulted in legislative violations but also an apparent violation of human rights. How are people with limited mobility and those with strollers supposed to use the underpass?
Thus, the evaluation is inadequate, and you did not pass this inspection, Tigran Avinyan."
It should be noted that the underpass of the Closed Market was reopened yesterday after renovations.
