2000-Year-Old Column of Mithridates II and His Sister Collapses in Turkey

The 2000-year-old column depicting Mithridates II of Commagene and his sister, adorned with an Armenian crown, has collapsed in the Turkish province of Adıyaman due to an earthquake.

This monument is listed by UNESCO. Fortunately, the overall complex has not sustained significant damage.
