VIDEO: If We Need to Reach La Manche, I Have My Perfect Plan - Prigozhin on the War in Ukraine

The founder and leader of Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, spoke about the timeline of the special military operation in Ukraine in an interview with the head of the WarGonzo project, Semyon Pegov, as reported by Kommersant.ru.

"If we need to go up to the Dnieper, that would take three years; if we need to close DPR and LPR, we would need to work another year and a half to two years. If we need to go up to La Manche, then I have my ideal plan," Prigozhin stated.

The Russian special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022, on the orders of President Vladimir Putin. Federal authorities have not specified concrete deadlines for its completion. Putin has declared that "the special operation is proceeding according to plan, and it is wrong to discuss or clarify its timelines." The Kremlin has stated that it will end when all objectives are accomplished. The Russian Foreign Ministry has asserted that the military operation will conclude "when the NATO threat is eliminated." On February 7, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov announced that military operations in Ukraine would be completed by the end of this year.
