Prevention of Illegal Transport of Over 1150 Grams of Gold and Other Precious Jewelry

More than 1150 grams of jewelry made from gold and other precious metals were seized while being transported illegally from the Republic of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia and in the opposite direction, through the Bavra and Bagratashen customs checkpoints. This information was reported by the State Revenue Committee (SRC).

Based on the facts, violation reports were prepared under Article 316 of the Customs Regulation Law of the Republic of Armenia, and materials were sent to the Legal Department of the SRC to ensure further proceedings.
