"My Hands are Shaking as I Write": Armenian Singer and Her Husband Found Dead Under Rubble
Armenian musician Udi Ervand has announced on his Facebook page that among the victims of the earthquake that struck Turkey on February 6th is the Armenian singer Zilan Tigris. The singer and her husband were found dead under the rubble in Diyarbakir.
"My hands are shaking as I write. Unfortunately, we lost our dear sister, Zilan Tigris, and her husband. I extend my condolences to those who loved her in Diyarbakir. We have lost one of our voices. Just a week ago, I had a long conversation with her in St. Giran church. I am experiencing unimaginable grief," Udi Ervand stated.
It is noteworthy that Zilan Tigris and her husband, Chaghdash Chankayan, were being searched for under the debris.
