VIDEO: Fires Erupt in Containers at Turkey's Iskenderun Port After Earthquake
Following the earthquake, a fire broke out in shipping containers at the Iskenderun port in southern Turkey. This was reported by the Sabah newspaper.
Due to the powerful tremors, the containers toppled into a heap and subsequently caught fire. The exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Thick black smoke is rising from the site.
It is worth noting that a magnitude 7.7 earthquake occurred in southeastern Turkey on the night of February 6, marking the strongest quake since 1939. Later, additional strong tremors were recorded. The death toll has already surpassed 1,500, with around 10,000 people injured.
