Photos: Police Officers Injured in a Road Accident Due to Black Ice

Today, on February 5, police officers on duty were injured in a road accident due to black ice on the roadway. According to shamshyan.com, around 12:00 PM, a 35-year-old resident of Gegharkunik Province, Vahe S., lost control of his Opel Astra vehicle on the Yerevan-Sevan highway at the beginning of the Chayni twists due to the black ice and struck the police officers who were serving in the area.

The driver was sober and did not flee the scene; he assisted in transporting the injured officers to the ‘Abovyan’ Medical Center.
