VIDEO: "Who are you, you came to judge?" Arsenyan's tough speech in the National Assembly escalated the situation

I wanted to hear a political perspective, but I listened to the threats from the expelled ones. What are you talking about, what kind of threats are you sending? Are you the master of your threats, and do you stand by your words?

This was stated today by ruling party MP Gurgen Arsenyan during parliamentary hearings on the Lachin corridor, who participated in the opposition-organized discussions.

"The fact that we say there is a responsible government in Armenia is precisely because it understands the consequences of its actions. Today you are sitting here pretending to talk about Armenian–Azerbaijani relations, having some romantic expressions about it, but have you forgotten reality? You have forgotten what those relations have led to, what Armenia and the Armenian people are facing now, constantly – 120 thousand residents of Artsakh, and 3 million residents of Armenia; we are responsible for those people, for our country, set your priorities right," said the ruling party MP.

Arsenyan was reminded about his family relationships from the parliamentary hall, to which he responded that it does not concern them, and the opposition remarked that their judgment was given by the people, while they are a civilized authority.

"You think you are participants in a tribunal, who are you? Your judgment has been rendered by the people. The manipulation of the Artsakh issue will not give you the opportunity to come to power in Armenia; forget that. You can only come to power in Armenia when the people of Armenia give you that mandate; that is the only way," Arsenyan said.
