Russian Defense Ministry on Negotiations for Resuming Traffic through Lachin

The Russian peacekeeping forces continue to carry out their assigned tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated in a report by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that the Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring at 30 observation posts and are overseeing the maintenance of the ceasefire regime.

"The command of the peacekeeping contingent continues negotiations with the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides regarding the resumption of traffic along the Stepanakert-Goris route," the report states.

Patrols have been carried out in the Martuni and Martakert regions and in the Lachin corridor.

The report also mentions that Russian peacekeepers have escorted a humanitarian convoy along the Goris-Stepanakert route.
