EU Stands By Ukraine More Than Ever: European Commission President and EU Diplomat Arrive in Kyiv

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and EU diplomat Josep Borrell have arrived in Kyiv. Tomorrow, a Ukraine-EU summit will take place in the Ukrainian capital.

"We are here together to show that the EU stands by Ukraine more than ever. We will deepen our support and cooperation even further," she wrote on Twitter.

This is her fourth visit to Kyiv since the beginning of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

At the same time, EU diplomat Josep Borrell also announced his visit to Kyiv. "I have come to Kyiv to send the strongest signal of EU support to all Ukrainians who are defending their country. Since the start of the Russian war, the level of EU assistance has reached 50 billion euros. Europe has united with Ukraine from the very first day," he stated.
