Three Patients Transferred from Artsakh to Armenia
Due to the blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, three patients have been transferred from the Republic Medical Center of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh to specialized medical centers in Armenia on January 31, with the mediation and escort of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Two of the patients are suffering from oncological diseases, and one requires surgical intervention.
In the 'Arevik' medical facility, seven children are currently in the neonatal and intensive care units. At the 'Republican Medical Center', 12 patients are in the intensive care unit, five of whom are in critical condition.
To date, a total of 58 patients have been transferred from Artsakh to Armenia with the mediation and escort of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
