Prosecutor Transferred to New Position Yesterday Has Been Released from the Position Today

Anna Vardapetyan yesterday signed an order transferring Karen Gabrielyan from the position of Prosecutor of Lori Province to the position of Deputy Head of the Department for Crimes Against Population Health at the Prosecutor General's Office. Today, Anna Vardapetyan signed another order relieving Karen Gabrielyan from the position he was appointed to yesterday: "Karen Gabrielyan, Deputy Head of the Department for Crimes Against Population Health at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia, Class One Justice Advisor, has been relieved from his position effective February 1, 2023." This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor General's Office.

The order is not posted in the document section, and it is unclear from the publication whether Karen Gabrielyan was relieved from his position at his own request or by the decision of the prosecutor.

It should be noted that Karen Gabrielyan has also served as the Prosecutor of Shirak Province.
